Argeș/ criminal pursuit initiated against a Jordanian citizen accused of trading favors

On 23.11.2016, DGA judiciary police officers from Argeş Territorial Anti-corruption Unit applied a bringing warrant against B.Z.ME. – a Jordanian citizen who was suspect in a criminal file instrumented by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Argeş, accused of trading favors.

On 10.11.2016, the prosecutor within Galaţi Court of Appeal issued the indictment and sent to Court of the defendants:

- M.D.D, for theft and influencing the declarations;
- R.D, for favoring the offender and intellectual forgery.

Bihor/ policeman condemned for bribe taking and favoring the offender

On 16.11.2016, Oradea Court of Appeal over ruled the appeals made with regards to the sentences given by Bihor Tribunal and ordered the following measures against the defendants:
- Sala Ionuț Claudiu, traffic police agent, sentenced to 3 years imprisonment with suspension and 4 years judiciary control, under the accusations of bribe taking and favoring the offender,
- Câmpean Lucian, sentenced to 2 years and 6 months imprisonment, with accumulation of previous sentences, under the accusations of bribe giving and illegal driving on public roads.

Prahova/university professor investigated under judiciary control for 21 offences fo bribe taking

Following the investigations conducted by DGA judiciary police officers from Prahova Anti-corruption Territorial Unit, the relevant prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Prahova Tribunal initiated criminal investigation of GID, university professor at Ploieşti Petrol and Gas University, under 60 days judiciary control, under the accusation of repeated bribe taking.

On 08.11.2016, Bacău Court of Appeal over ruled the appeals of Puşcaşu Lucian Nicu and Lepădatu Dumitru and maintained the sanctions (imprisonment with suspension) for bribe taking and trading favors. The decision is definitive.
