Galați/ two policemen refused a 2000 lei bribe

On 21.01.2015, AGD officers from Galați Anti-corruption Territorial Unit, coordinated by the case prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Galaţi Tribunal, caught in the act two unemployed citizens, S.T. and A.M., as they offered a 1500 lei bribe to two policemen from a local Police Station within Galaţi County Police Inspectorate, in order to obtain a favorable solution in a criminal file in which they were investigated for breaking the traffic regulations in force.

Maramureș/ A border policeman refused an important amount of money

Following the denounce forwarded by a border policeman, between 03.12.2014 – 21.01.2015, judicial police officers within AGD – Maramureş County Anti-corruption Service and those within the Sighetu Marmaţiei Border Police Inspectorate, under the co-ordonation of the case prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Maramureş Tribunal, performed several activities of documenting cigarttes smuggling.

On 15.01.2014, AGD judiciary police officers from Giurgiu Anti-corruption Territorial Unit, coordinated by the relevant prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Giurgiu Tribunal, caught in the act a citizen, as he tried to give a 700 lei bribe to a police agent from a local County Police Station, in order not to take the legal measures and exonerate him of a criminal file drew against him, as he broke the traffic regulations (the provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 195/2002).

Covasna/a citizen is investigated for bribe giving after he tried to corrupt a policeman


On 06.01.2014, AGD judiciary police officers from Covasna Anti-corruption Territorial Unit, coordinated by the relevant prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Covasna Tribunal, caught in the act a citizen, LD, as he tried to give a 200 lei bribe to a police agent from a local County Police Station, in order not to take the legal measures against him, that is suspension of the driving license, as he broke the traffic regulations (the provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 195/2002).

Mureș/a police officer refused bribe for the fourth time

AGD judiciary police officers from Mureş Anti-corruption Territorial Unit, coordinated by the relevant prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Mureş Tribunal, with technical support from the local Unit for Special Operations, caught in the act a citizen as he tried to give a 250 lei bribe, in order to return him the registration certificate of a vehicle he was driving, which was retained following a traffic control, on 20.12.2014.
