Today, on the 20th of October, AGD officers, under the co-ordination of the case prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, with support from the General Inspectorate for Border Police, Gendarmerie Special Unit and Romanian Intelligence Service, jointly with the State Agency for National Security from Bulgaria, performed searches at Giurgiu Border Crossing Point, in order to gather evidence on the criminal activity of several border police agents suspect of corruption crimes.

On 07.10.2014, AGD employees – Covasna Anti-corruption Service, under the co-ordination of the case prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Covasna Tribunal, caught in the act C.S., a police agent within Driving Licenses and Vehicle Registration Service of Covasna, as he was receiving 200 Euro from an undercover investigator (UCI).

On Tuesday, the 16th of September, judicial police officers within AGD – Satu Mare, under the co-ordination of the case prosecutor, caught in the act 48 years old UE, from Satu Mare, as he was offering 200 Euro bribe to a traffic police agent, in exchange of not applying the legal measure of suspending the driving license for breaching the traffic regulation.

PRESS RELEASE

On 02.09.2014, AGD officers – Dolj Anti-corruption Territorial Unit, coordinated by the case prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Dolj Tribunal, caught in the act a 31 years old citizen, SN, as he offered 1 200 lei to a police agent within the local County Police Inspectorate – Coşoveni Rural Police Station. The citizen was investigated in a criminal file for driving withiout a driving license.
