9th of DECEMBER – Anticorruption International Day celebrated by the Anti-corruption General Directorate and the Association Pro Democracy, through direct interaction with the citizens, at AFI Palace Cotroceni
On the occasion of the Anti-corruption International Day, the Anti-corruption General Directorate within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, through the Anti-corruption Directorate for Burharest and Ilfov County, in partnership with the Association Pro Democracy, with support from the Bucharest City Hall, on the 9th of December, organises the final stage of the Project „Pay ZERO for what is yours!”, at AFI Palace Cotroceni.
On 11/27/2014, the prosecutors within Prosecutors`s office attached to Valcea Tribunal ordered the initiation of criminal proceedings against a police agent within in the Drăgăşani Police Village - party traffic police, for offenses of bribery, abuse of office if servant obtained for himself or for others an undue advantage, using, in any manner, directly or indirectly, information which is not for publicity or allowing unauthorized persons access to this information and conducting financial transactions as trade acts incompatible function, duty or task that a person meets the purpose of obtaining for himself or for another, money, goods or other undue benefits. However, he ordered the preventive measure to judicial review.
Covasna / A police agent refused bribe for the second time
On Wednesday, the 19th of November, around 15:30 o’clock, judicial police officers within AGD – Covasna County Anti-corruption Service, under the co-ordination of the case prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Covasna Tribunal, caught in the act a 22 years old man from Măgura, Buzău county, who attempted to give 200 lei bribe to a police officer.
On 11.11.2014, AGD officers from the Anti-corruption Directorate for Bucharest and Ilfov County, coordinated by the case prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Bucharest Tribunal, caught in the act two persons who offered a 1000 lei bribe to a police agent, in order not to take the legal measures against them.
On 11.11.2014, AGD judiciary police officers – Bihor Anti-corruption Territorial Unit, supported by the Intervention Unit within the local County Gendarme Inspectorate, based on the delegation ordinance issued by the prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to Bihor Tribunal, conducted home and vehicles searches, at the domiciles of a police agent and his accomplice, who were suspect of criminal activities.
